Item Details
An oil painting on canvas titled Shelling I by artist Ruth Mueller-Taylor. This work features swift, painterly brushstrokes and is rendered in a palette of soft hues. Depicted is a beach scene and two blonde-haired children sitting along the shore, digging for seashells. It is signed by hand to the lower right corner and dated ‘8/93’ to the verso. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame with stylized foliate motif molding and an off-white fabric liner. To the verso is a metal hanging wire and a hand written inscription specifying the title, artist, date, and medium.

- minor wear to frame; some discoloration to the verso.
