Limited Edition Disney Animation Cels Featuring Donald Duck and Sleeping Beauty

A pair of limited edition animation cels from Disney Enterprises, both hand signed by the voice actors for the featured characters. The first, titled Donald’s Memory Book depicts Donald Duck looking at a large scrapbook of historic moments, after an original drawing by Disney animator and official voice for Donald Duck, Tony Anselmo. It is signed by Mr. Anselmo to the lower right on the mat, along with an additional screen-printed sketch and the signature of Donald. The second, titled Fairy Tale Moments, features six separate cels that depicts icons from the 1959 film Sleeping Beauty, including Princess Aurora, her fairy godmothers, Maleficent, and more. It has the title of the movie printed to the lower center, and the signature of Mary Costa, the voice of Princess Aurora, to the lower right on the mat. These cels were created using serigraphy on a celluloid acetate layer over offset-printed grounds. They each include an official seal and limited edition number reading ‘Edition Size: 2500’ to a lower corner, with certificates of authenticity and information on the prints to the versos. The pieces are presented behind white mats and glass in black frames with wire to the versos for hanging.
