A Native American-style hand drum, hand-painted by Minneconjou Lakota artist Jim Little Wounded Hand. This drum depicts a horseback Plains Indian hunter spearing a buffalo on a yellow ochre background, rendered in a contemporary style. The drum’s bindings are trimmed in decorative pieces of fur, beading, shells, and beads. It is signed ‘Jim Little Wounded Hand’ to the verso and dated to 1990.

- wear, paint loss, scratches, minor tear and damage to animal hide; untested.
