A handmade Kentucky folk art whirligig with a man sawing a log. This decorative yard ornament depicts a man wearing overalls sawing a log supported on a stand. The piece has a fan attached to the back so that when the wind blows there is a repeated motion of the man bending forward and back to a straight-up standing position. The whirligig is mounted to a squared pole with a base of wooden strips arranged in an ‘X’ formation.

Condition

- one blade of the fan is cracked and appears to have attempted repair. Faded and peeling paint.
