1930s Remington 5 Portable Typewriter with Case
Item Details
A Remington 5 portable typewriter with a case, produced by Remington Rand circa the late 1930s. This black typewriter is the later ‘streamlined’ version of the Remington 5, with a curved Art Deco style design in place of the boxy version produced in the early 1930s. The typewriter comes with a black box-shaped latching case with a carrying handle. The paper rest is marked ‘Remington 5’ and the front edge of the typewriter is marked ‘Remington Rand’.
