A silver-plated flatware set by 1847 Rogers Bros. of International Silver. This is the First Love pattern, first introduced in 1937, which features floral and bead accented handles with fan detailing. The set includes seven place spoons, seven dinner knives, fourteen teaspoons, a sugar spoon, eight salad forks, five dinner forks, a serving spoon, a serving fork, and a master butter knife. Most are marked to the backs ‘1847 Rogers Bros IS First Love’. Also presented are two spoons, one fork, and two butter spreaders in different patterns by various makers, and two have personalized engravings to their handles.
