Item Details
A seventeen piece English dessert service. These pieces boast ornate, Rococo forms with a foral garland motif on a salmon ground and gilding. The group includes ten luncheon plates, one oval serving bowl, two round serving bowls, two serving plates, one cream jug and one small tureen. Some items are impressed with letters but are otherwise without maker’s marks, as is typical for items of this age from English factories.
Condition
- pierced tab handle to one piece has been broken and repaired; crazing and staining throughout; surface marks from prior use; wear to gilding.
