Antique English Imari Porcelain Tableware
Item Details
A three-piece collection of antique Imari decorated English porcelain tableware. This collection was produced between 1820-30 and features a pair of footed waste bowls decorated with multi-colored floral panels alternating with gold foliate designs against a cobalt blue field. The square dish features a curvilinear rim with intricate gold scroll and a Japanese inspired fan design. The decoration was hand painted using a color palette of iron red, cobalt blue and salmon with gold accents. There are no discernible maker’s marks as was typical of many Regency period English factories.
Condition
- to Fair; surface wear including scratches, a chip, markings, wear to enamels and discoloration; the square dish has a crack, stains and wear.
