A miniature acrylic painting on board titled Unbroken by contemporary Cherokee artist Dino ‘Oogeloot’ Kingfisher (20th/21st Century), created in 2004. This painting on cut circular board features a maternal figure with two children standing in the middle of a rustic snow-covered landscape. Spiritual ghost-like figures rendered in blue hues are present throughout the scene including a monumental omnipotent face of a Native American man overcoming the nocturnal sky. The painting is mounted on a blue surface, presented under glass with gray matting, and housed in a black composite wood frame. A descriptive label is present to the verso also with handwritten inscriptions that provide the title and artist of the work.
