A vintage English Adams style walnut vanity and matching stool, marked inside of drawer ‘The Empire MFG. CO./Made in Rockford, Illinois.’ The vanity features a hinged, tripartite mirror with a small drawer on paw feet that rests on a shaped top, above a classical carved apron with narrow drawer over a valanced knee-hole and flanked by concave cabinet doors with veneered panels and applied rosettes. The circa 1920-30 vanity and matching stool stand on turned, fluted legs with carved detail.
