A group of geode specimens. This group of four geode specimens features three specimens that display outer rims of banded cryptocrystalline quartz that grades into coarse crystalline quartz with white or purple quartz crystal points projecting into the central cavity. Also included is a geode that displays complete cryptocrystalline quartz fill. Each specimen is presented on a labeled styrofoam base indicating that the specimens were collected in Mexico.
