A vintage iridescent glass serving platter by Fostoria from the American Milestones series. This piece depicts the Mt. Rushmore landmark, inscribed ‘Founding, Expansion, Preservation, and Unification’ corresponding with Presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln, respectively. This vignette reads ‘Shrine of Democracy’ and is framed by a scalloped rim molded with alternating geometric motifs. This series was produced between 1971 and 1975.
