Ceramic Ginger Jars with Lids
Item Details
A group of ceramic ginger jars with lids. The three pieces include two with Asian style designs. The unmarked jar is covered with yellow chrysanthemums. The blue and white jar with floral designs and a pheasant in a tree is marked with a ‘Made in Japan’ sticker. The glazed brown jar features a central design in relief of a rural scene. This handmade piece is marked to the base in the surface ‘Schwartz’.
