Vintage Clogging Folk Art Puppets
Item Details
A pair of vintage clogging folk art puppets. This collection includes two hand carved wooden folk art dolls with hand-painted facial features and clothing, accented with metal, yarn, and fabric details. Each puppet has hinged hips and knees and is attached to a metal puppeteer mechanism at the waist. The dolls are supported by a wooden base marked ‘Cloggers’.
Condition
- some tarnish to metal; loss of finish throughout; female figure missing shoes.
