A vintage Hitchcock side chair made by L. Hitchcock of Hitchcocksville, Conn. The chair features a pillow top crest, one slat and four spindles to the backs, curved seats and lovely turned legs and stretchers. The chairs feature black painted backings and legs with floral stenciled motifs and walnut seating. The chair is marked to the back of the seat ‘Hitchcock, Hitchcocksville, Conn. Warranted.’
