An unusual artisan hammered sterling silver brooch depicting a face with closed eyes and open mouth, embellished with a handcrafted applied ‘cloche’ hat or ’flapper’s bob’ hairstyle worked in the delicate telkari twisted wire filigree technique, handmade tube hinge and clasp applied to verso. Marked ‘925’ and signed ‘WTS’. Each piece is tested or hallmarked as sterling silver and the total weight inclusive of all materials is 0.400 ozt.
