Vintage Needlepoint Floral Accent Rug
Item Details
A vintage needlepoint floral accent rug. This handmade wool rug is rendered in a palette of garnet, rose and cream, with highlights in shades of green and cornsilk. It features a rose-colored cartouche with large white cream-colored blooms, buds and foliage at the center and small sprays of white flowers along with edges. The cartouche rests on an open garnet-colored field without borders. Edges are serged on all sides; a full muslin backing covers the underside. The rug is unlabeled.
