Hand-Knotted Tribal Shahsavan Carpet Runner

Item Details

A hand-knotted tribal Shahsavan carpet runner. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of muted red, charcoal gray, espresso, ivory, burgundy and black. It features two almond shaped medallions with irregular edges and sawtooth borders. They are patterned with eight pointed star rosettes and geometric angular shapes. Surrounding the medallions are more rosettes, tress of life motifs, and boxes with ramshorn hooks. It is framed with a sawtooth line border and finished with fringe to either end.
