Vintage Schmid-Linder Reuge Music Box Beer Stein

A vintage Schmid-Linder Reuge music box stein. The piece features a silver tone metal top and thumb rest and an embossed ceramic body featuring an interior scene of figures at a table with steins and is embossed ‘Der Trunk sei klar, Dein Lieb sei rar’, which translates as ‘The drink is clear, your love is precious.’ It is finished in a variety of brown tones to create a faux carved wood look. It retains its original Reuge ‘Edelweiss’ paper label and its Schmid-Linder paper label to the underside.

Condition

- scuffs and wear to the body of the piece; music box did not play when tested.
