Late 19th Century Star "The Boys Tool Chest"
Item Details
A late 19th century Star ‘The Boys Tool Chest’. This antique tool box is comprised of wood with a hinged lid and hook latch closure. The interior of the box features a pictorial paper label to its lid which reads ‘Star The Boys Tool Chest 60A’. The box contains a wood planer, mallet, saw, wood pieces, and more. The set was produced by Star in the late 19th century.
Condition
- dust and dirt residue; tarnishing of metal; hardware coming loose; chips and surface scratches throughout; discoloration and fading; toning and peeling of paper label to interior; rust to saw; did not check completeness of set.
