1882-90 Charles Field Haviland Limoges Porcelain Tray
Item Details
An antique Charles Field Haviland Limoges porcelain tray. The tray features a hand-painted floral pattern in purple, green, and blue to the square form. The curved brass handle displays a twisting embossed beaded and ridged design ending in molded clamps with scroll accents. The tray is marked ‘CFH/GDM’ in green underglaze placing production between 1882-90 by Gerard, Dufraisseix & Morel who then owned the Charles Field Haviland company.
Condition
- tarnish, oxidation, and wear to metal; gilding to edges almost completely worn off; minor marks.
