A circa 1960s oil painting on canvas signed ‘Villanova’. The piece depicts an Impressionist-inspired overcast London cityscape, with pedestrians and horse-drawn carriages moving among stately architecture that includes St. Paul’s Cathedral. The work is signed in black paint to the lower right. It is presented without glass in a gold tone wooden frame fitted with sawtooth hanging hardware to the verso.
