An oil painting on canvas of a Native American inspired scene by listed artist Anderson Lee Benally. This painting depicts an overlay of two brown bears and a figure in frontal portraiture, who overlook a lone individual on horseback trekking through a snowy, wooded area which obscures their followers as silhouettes. To the lower margin is a band of geometric shapes set against an impasto ground, as well as a painted copyright signature dated 1991. The painting is wrapped over a circular piece of wood with hanging wire to the verso.
