An oil painting on canvas titled The Ferryman by Ella G. Reynolds. This painting depicts a mother and her child standing on the shore before boarding a ferry boat to cross the river. The piece is signed and titled in graphite to the stretcher on the verso and dated 1900. It is presented in a gold tone wooden frame with a hanging wire to the verso.

- stretcher marks on canvas; buckling; paint missing along edges and center; toning; puncture in canvas right of center; toning on verso of canvas; backing paper damaged.
