1970s Commemorative Plates
Item Details
A collection of 1970s commemorative plates. This collection includes two identical plates, each displaying work after Alton S. Tobey (1914 – 2005). The plates are titled The Promised Land, and are marked to the verso as number 2,089 and 2,291 from a limited edition. Also included is a smaller plate, 1976 Annual United States Historical Plate, depicting small illustrations along the border. The plate is number 1,140 in an edition of 5,000.
