A mixed media painting on black velveteen after the manner of 20th-century Japanese artist Chotai Yonaha. The piece depicts a female figure in traditional Okinawan attire. She is depicted performing the Yotsutake dance, wearing a large round lotus-motif hat and a patterned olive bingata kimono. The unsigned work is presented without glass in a wooden frame with woven liner, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
