N. Huss Oil Painting on Canvas "The Dancer"
Item Details
An original oil painting on canvas titled The Dancer by N. Huss. This nude figure study depicts the slender model in a ladder back side chair, in front of a wall decorated with bold orange and blue patterns. The dancer, wearing only a petticoat, strikes a defiant pose with one foot on the chair and her head resting on the knuckles of her hand, an impatient expression on her face. The work is signed in the lower left ‘N. Huss’. It is presented in a brass tone metal floating frame with a hanging bracket mounted to the verso.
