An oil painting on canvas of a French street scene by listed artist Caroline Burnett. This Impressionist style painting depicts ghostly, figural forms walking alongside a cobblestone road which is aligned by rustic, European architecture and a single, large tree. The road spans into the distance, obscured by fog. To the lower right corner of the composition is a painted artist signature. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame featuring a linen liner with hanging wire to the verso.
