Item Details
An oil painting of a desert scene on canvas board appearing to be signed ‘Avramidis.’ The piece depicts a pair of figures and a low tent against a landscape filled with palms, as well as a camel lifting its nose toward the cloudy sky, all rendered with cool pinkish earth tones and painterly brushwork. It is signed somewhat illegibly to its lower left and is mounted in a carved gold tone frame without hardware for hanging.
Condition
- paint loss throughout, particularly to upper corners; accretions and dust to surface and would benefit from cleaning; surface wear to edges and corners of frame.
