This painting depicts a light pink cherry blossom hanging before a lamp, which overlooks a calm body of water lined by various foliage obscuring a pagoda like structure to the distance. To the lower right corner of the composition is a painted signature appearing to read ‘Tanachi’. The painting is presented under glass beneath layered matting in a silver tone and stained wooden frame with hanging wire and a handwritten tag to the verso.
