Item Details
An oil painting on canvas of a happy man signed Sauret. This portrait depicts a smiling man with a white beard and apron standing in an urban exterior setting. He holds a stein of ale in one hand, and his other holds an armful of turnips and bread. The work is signed in the lower left ‘Sauret’. It is presented in a gold tone wood and gesso frame with molded arabesque motif. There is a hanging wire mounted to the verso.
