Item Details
An oil painting on canvas board of a woman facing the ocean by listed American artist Richard Stalter (born 1934). This loosely rendered painting depicts a woman in a pleated skirt with her back towards the viewer, gazing at an expansive body of water. It is signed by hand to the lower right corner. To the verso is a graphite notation specifying the artist and dating the work ‘1934’. The painting is presented in a wooden frame with a paper backing and metal hanging wire to the verso.
