Item Details
A gouache painting on paper of a marsh scene signed by an artist with the name Edward Grant. This painting depicts a calm brook cutting through land masses covered in dry grass, which is intersected by a torn down, wooden picketed fence with docked boats to the distance. To the lower right corner of the composition is a handwritten artist signature, dated 1957. The painting is presented under glass beneath layered matting in a stained wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

- sticker residue to the lower left; light wear to frame finish; paper backing is removed.
