George III Style Diminutive Console Table with Two Drawers

A George III style diminutive console table with two drawers. The walnut-veneered frame features a rectangular, bookmatched top with molded edges and notched, front corners overhanging a scrolled and shaped apron with two aligned, machine-dovetailed drawers. The cockbeaded and burl-veneered fronts are fitted with brass, bail handles and the table rises on Marlborough legs. There are no maker’s marks.

Condition

- to fair; top with some light scratches and small spots of finish wear, including a couple of light ring stains; top with a couple spots of lifting veneer along the back edge.
