Large, signed oil on canvas featuring a European townscape. The paint was lavishly applied with a rich impasto effect. The style is rather modernist and the bold spots of rich color are invigorating. It measures 24 × 36 inches and is signed lower right. The stylized signature is hard to discern: It appears to read ‘Trillin’ or perhaps ‘Fitillin.’ The painting remains in very good condition and is unframed.
