A vintage hand-knotted Persian Kashan rug. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of cranberry, navy and azure, olive, rose, navy, and ivory. It features a diamond shaped scalloped medallion on a red field patterned with curvilinear vines. The main border features a herati motif with guard borders of lobbed flowers. It has fringe to either end. Marked ‘Made in Iran’ to the reverse.
