A Wedgwood Peter Rabbit creamware dish. This cream colored ceramic dish features an extended rim wrapped with black text, as well as a depiction of Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit escaping from the McGregor’s garden to the interior well. The verso reads ‘of Etruria & Barlston, Wedgwood, Beatrix Potter Designs, Peter Rabbit’, a marked used starting in 1940.

Condition

- crazing on bottom of dish; wear to text wrapping around dish; minor surface scratches throughout.
