Vintage Mid Century Japanese Tea Set
Item Details
Fabulous mid century tea set from roughly 1940, that features traditional dressed women and children in a rich tapestry of color and movement. Predominately a rusty red color punctuated by crisp colors of gold and green. Lot includes (12) 5’ diameter saucers, and (11) tea cups, a trio of graduated fluted serving bowls, a cream and sugar and even a tall 9’ tea pot. Marked made in Japan to the base.
Condition
- typical wear for age and previous use, with rubs to the paint, but no real visible cracks or chips.
