Late 19th Century Advertising Cards, Greeting Cards and Illustrations in Frames

A group of six late eighteenth century advertisement cards, greeting card and illustrations all depicting scenes with children and Pug type dogs. These charming scenes are framed in glass and metal frames, one with a hand painted floral design. Four of the advertising cards are from J & P Coats Needle and Thread Company, Celluloid Starch Company, Merrick Thread Company, and a French company, Bouilion OXO de la Compie Liebig. The
leaded glass framed greeting card depicts a little girl sitting on a stone bench with her pug by her side and the sixth frame highlights two illustrations featuring dogs at play and a poem by Maurice Mateterunck.

The size above refers to the leaded glass frame which is the largest frame and the smallest , Merrick Thread , is 5.5" wide x 4" tall
