A hand-knotted Persian Kerman style area rug. This hand-knotted wool carpet features a color scheme of teal, burgundy, ivory, midnight blue, gray, tan, and sky blue. It has an eight pointed central medallion on a deep teal colored oval lozenge with dense borders of fern-like leaves, flowers, and palmettes. It has a herati motif main border with meander line and lobbed flower blossom guard borders. It has fringe to either end and it is not marked.
