Pair of 1930 Cast Iron Pug Banks

Item Details

A pair of 1930s era cast iron pug dog banks. The pugs are painted with black and white faces, very soulful eyes and white bodies. They are in a seated position a top a cast iron pillow and a bee is playfully placed on their rear flanks. The coin slot is on the back of the neck. No marks are present.

Condition

One pug bank is in good condition consistent with use and age, some minor paint loss and some rust on the pillow. The other bank is showing greater signs of rust, scuffs, paint loss, wear and rust. No stoppers present.
