Collection of Vintage TIn Lithograph Wind-up Toys Made in the USA
Item Details
A collection of five vintage tin lithographic wind-up toys. The penguin ‘dressed’ in a red tails has it’s key and it is marked, ’ J. Chein & Company USA’ . The red and yellow turtle also has a key and it is marked ‘made in the USA’ and the blue and red bird with key is marked to the underside, ’Patented December 27, 1927. The two other chick wind-up toys are unmarked and the older one with faded paint is a wheel wind-up and the smaller one has a key wind up.
Condition
All keys are present and the toys move slightly when tested. The older chick has some paint loss and may have some newer rods in the wheels.

5.0" W x 1.5" H x 3.0" D
Refers to the largest toy, the turtle. The smallest is the key wind chick, 2.5" wide x 1.5" tall,
