Vintage West German Key Wind-Up Toys from D.R.G.M. and Kohler
Item Details
A collection of six vintage German lithographic tin key wind-up toys from Kohler and D.R.G.M. US Zone Germany. The two tin toys from Kohler (Georg Kohler), the bird with the yellow felt tail and the green and yellow frog, are marked to the underside with ‘GKN’ intwined in a triangle and their keys are not present. The rabbit, green and red frog, the bird with the orange felt tail and the rooster with the felt comb and tail are all marked, ‘D.R.G.M. US Zone Germany’ and no keys are present.
Condition
The majority are in good shape consistent with use and age. bright paint coloration on most. The rabbit has severe paint loss and some rust. No keys are present, thus all the toys are untested.
Dimensions
The size above refers to the rooster which is the largest. The rabbit is 3.5" tall and the smallest bird is 1.5" tall.
