A circa 1960s oil painting on canvas by listed Spanish artist Isidro Antequera (born 1926). The piece depicts a sunny Spanish village cityscape, with a narrow street surrounded by white buildings, colorful awnings and potted greenery. The painting appears to feature the same locale as Antequera’s 1967 work titled Calle Manchega. The piece is signed ‘I. Antequera’ in brown paint to the lower right. It is presented without glass in a gold tone wooden frame with tan fabric liner, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

- to fair; slight toning to image; stains and discoloration to linen liner; wear and dents along bottom of canvas, particularly to lower right; edge wear and scuffing to frame; no backing paper present; toning to canvas verso.
