A charming primitive folk art hand carved wooden figurine of a seated dog holding a rolled newspaper in his mouth. The dog seems to be a mixed breed with large patches of black and gray paint to his decoration. There are two small holes drilled through the round base from a previous mounting. The figure is mounted to a small metal plinth. Unsigned.
