Item Details

A Victorian advertising trade card for The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, copyrighted 1884. This chromolithograph on paper features a seated woman holding a child and dog in her lap. The company’s logo and copyright is printed to the upper left. The trade card is mounted on fabric with a purple and green floral pattern. It is presented under glass and housed in a black painted wood frame with a gold-tone liner.

Condition

- some toning, minor foxing, and faint stains throughout car; residue throughout glass; some wear in frame includes scratches and finish loss throughout.
