Item Details
A collection of two sets of Russian matryoshka nesting dolls. Each five-piece doll set is hand-painted in the Tverskaya style and depicts rosy-cheeked girls in traditional Slavic dress. The first set has a floral design in shades of robin’s egg blue, cobalt, green, gold, and red, and is marked ‘K.T. 5м’ in Cyrillic script to the verso. The second set has a floral design in shades of red, black, green, dusky pink, and dusky blue, and is marked ‘5м’ in Cyrillic to the verso.
Condition
- layers of figurines have tight seal; difficult to separate.
