A 20th-century oil painting on canvas of a hunting scene by Lydia Montgomery. Situated in a rocky mountainous landscape, this work features an older gentleman with a rifle and some goats running up from behind him in various directions. The painting is signed to the lower right. It is presented in a decorative gilt and gesso wood frame.

- 4-inch puncture present to upper right, patched to verso; long vertical mended puncture to upper central area of canvas; 5-inch mended puncture near central left edge of painting; craquelure and faint stretch marks throughout painting; some wear in frame includes scratches, stains, and finish loss scattered throughout.
