A hand-knotted Romanian Tabriz style room size carpet. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of madder red, midnight blue, peach, golden yellow, gray, brown, and ecru . The field is patterned with angular leaves, Shah Abbasi palmettes, and floriate vines. It is framed with a main border of lobbed flower blossoms and leaves with a waving central line. It has carnation meander and sawtooth guard borders. It is finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Unlabeled.
