A room-sized machine woven Persian inspired floral area rug. This glossy wool rug features a crisp and detailed repeating floral motif in shades of slate blue, mauve, and mint green on a deep teal green field with a decorative medallion to the center. Surrounding the medallion, there are detailed leaf forms and sprays of a variety of flowers throughout. This rug features a compound floral border in a coordinating color scheme, with a wide primary border on an ivory field with arabesques of vine work. It has a warp fringe to either end. Unmarked.
